Forest Heights is a luxurious housing development in Portland, OR, on the West Slope of the West Hills. It spans over 600 acres of tightly creased hills, and has miles of steep, winding roads, fantastic running paths, a beautiful community park with an oversized pond and a plethora of views & warmth. It is considered to be one of Portland's more desirable neighborhoods and is truly an oasis hidden just minutes from the hustle of city life. It is located between some of Portland's largest employers (Nike, Intel, area hospitals, etc). The views to the west of the setting sun are amazing! The Forest Heights community attracts many young couples and families and has a radiant fresh vibrant energy wherever you go.

EASY ACCESS TO NATURE

When planning the Forest Heights Neighborhood, special emphasis was placed on providing easy access to nature and enough recreational space for people to enjoy the outdoors. As you can learn from reading the Forest Heights Homeowner's Association's website, each lot has its own yard with easy access to public common areas and neighborhood parks. Two local parks are Forest Heights Park and Mill Pond Park, the latter which is actually maintained by the Forest Heights Neighborhood Association. In addition, nearly 1/3 of Forest Heights’ total acreage has been set aside as common green space to preserve its beauty.

HOMES, ARCHITECTURE & FOREST HEIGHTS REAL ESTATE

Forest Heights boasts a diverse selection of architectural styles, ranging from classic Northwest, to Colonial, to Mediterranean (and a lot of custom design in between). The Forest Heights Architectural Review Committee focuses on maintaining the attractive mix of architectural styles and reviews each new home design. EDUCATION

Forest Heights has its own school, Forest Park Elementary. Situated towards the center of the community it’s not only one of the best schools in the Portland Public School system but it also radiates an image of being embraced by the community that surrounds it.  Additionally, Forest Heights’ is close proximity to a handful of Portland’s better public schools, which can be accessed through bus service by Portland Schools and the Forest Heights bus service.

Forest Heights is settled in the NW Portland Hills, just south west of Skyline and north of Cornell. From Burnside / Barnes Rd just head north on NW Miller Rd to find this beautiful neighborhood and all it has to offer.

In 2005, the Forest Heights Village Center opened its doors as the neighborhoods

first shopping center with dining, coffee shops, dry cleaning, a hair studio and even a spa.
