FAVORITE ARNOLD CREEK RESTAURANTS

Flying Pie Pizzeria: 3 Monroe Parkway, Lake Oswego, OR - If you like chicago style vs new york style, this is the best in Portland, hands down. The food here is wonderful and you can get a board game to keep you entertained - it's very family friendly, and a large pizza is REALLY large! Their pizza dough is homemade and hand-rolled daily, and it's located comfortably near DMV in the Lake Oswego Towne Square shopping center of the Mountain Park area.

Koji Osakaya: 10100 SW Barbur Blvd - This local Japanese restaurant chain is known for its amazing lunch specials and the best sushi rice you'll ever eat. Choose from an extensive menu featuring sushi, udon, soba, teriyaki, tempura and curry. Whether you want a quick noodle lunch or a main course dinner with a wide variety of sushi, Koji Osakaya Japanese Restaurants can satisfy your appetite.

The Hummus Stop: 11140 SW Capitol Hwy - This neighborhood spot has over 16 kinds of hummus, amazing tabouli, home-made pita, and more. Stop in to find your new favorite flavor or pick up a classic stand-by. You're always encouraged to sample the flavors to make sure you walk away with a great meal. Some of our favorites are the Baba ganoush hummus (lovely roasted eggplant flavor), spicy harissa hummus, and roasted garlic and chive.

Green Wok: 11137 SW Capitol Hwy - Whether you like or disdain vegetarian "meat" it won't matter much because the extensive menu of Chinese dishes at Green Wok has something for the mock chicken, mock shrimp, tofu or just plain vegetable lover. Most dishes are shareable and will run you anywhere from eight to fourteen bucks ($2 cheaper 11am-2pm). For an even better deal check out their all-you-can-eat weekday lunch buffet for just $6.50.

Baba Fresh: 11139 SW Capitol Hwy - One of the great things about Portland’s eclectic cuisine scene is that, in nearly every neighborhood, one can discover another little gem. Baba Fresh, on Capitol Hwy, just past Pomona, near PCC Sylvania, is one such gem. They offer a complete line of coffees, smoothies, and fresh Mediterranean foods to eat indoors, on their little patio, or to go. The Baba guys also manufacture and wholesale hummus, baba ganoush, those kinds of items, so you may well have had their goods via your local supermarket already!
