I know, Kristie is getting fixated on this whole “stop the new, let’s renew building homes vs. renovating them” thing. Edwin Hesse (an awesome home remodeler) sent me an article from TIME entitled “Greening This Old House” which further discusses renovating existing unwanted homes that are currently sitting on the market.
I am REALLY hoping that the Street of Dreams will embrace this concept in 2010 and I intend to blog on it whenever I can. I’ve been bored with the last rounds of houses built at the Street of Dreams and would love to see some new creative talent! I hope to get some letters to the editors in to our local papers too. I’ve emailed Eric Stride, Director of Show Operations for the Street of Dreams but haven’t received a response yet. I’ll keep you posted!
