I just pulled up a search for listings in Milwaukie, OR- There are about 360 listings. Of those, 35 are described as bank owned foreclosures. Another 58 ( or 16% of the total) are described as short sales- where seller hasn’t been foreclosed yet, but it is in some stage of becoming bank owned. Between the two, that’s over 25% of the current inventory in the Milwaukie homes for sale. Frankly, that probably understates the actual numbers.

Seller’s waiting for the “right buyer”.. who is willing to pay a price above competing homes.. may be very disappointed.

Thanks for the information on the grants. I’ll have to remember this for some of my customers. I know that making a home more energy efficient can save people money. These loans along with federal tax rebates on furnaces and air conditioners can will help pay off these loans or reduce the amount that is borrowed. Perhaps these innitiatives will help improve Beaverton’s standing in the best places to live in the US.

I am happy about all the excitement for green homes, however as a subtle earth energy expert I feel we still need to make sure the land is harmonized and
we are building and remodeling these green homes to their best potential.

I use Sacred Geometry to harmonize homes and dowsing to look for underground earth energies that may be harmful. Once found the can be moved or mitigated.

I then apply feng Shui to the house and land.

A good green home starts with land that is healthy.
