Gresham Farmers' Market
The Gresham Farmers Market features locally grown produce, beautiful flowers, entertainment and local artists. The open-air booths with their colorful displays enhance the fun of picking the perfect fruits and vegetables for your table. Open Saturdays during the summer through October, the market also supports local musicians and artisans.

Gresham Art Walk
More than 90 artists from Oregon and southwest Washington gather annually to display and sell their original works along scenic Main Avenue in Gresham. The family event includes live music and free children's arts and crafts. Art for sale is varied, with everything from garden art and pottery to photography, beadwork, watercolors, textiles, glass and wood, oil paintings and much more. Look for the tell tale Shoe Poles that signify the art walk is coming, designed by a local merchant. The poles are covered in shoes with messages advertising the Art Walk, and businesses adopt a pole or donate to the designer. Some are all flip-flops, while others are covered with pink feathered boas.

Mount Hood Jazz Festival
The Mt. Hood Jazz Festival annually brings outdoor festival main stage performances by superior international, national, regional and local jazz musicians to Gresham in August. Smaller jazz venues and other artistic and cultural events are also included in this week long event. The Mt. Hood Adventures in Jazz series brings jazz musicians from outside the region to play at local Portland music venues as well as conducts educational workshops throughout the year.

Rockin' Round the Block Car Show
This car show is the second largest show east of the Mississippi River and it's packed with things for the entire family. There's a parade. There's face painting. There's music. There's an old fashioned street cruise, an engine blow, and a KidsZone Playland! What more could a family want? How about Olympic Bed Races? It's exactly how it sounds. Local businesses and organizations tear down Main Street pushing their team's bed (complete with a theme and on rollers of course) to the finish line. It's a great time that's not to be missed!

Boccelli's Ristorante

This Italian style restaurant is a wonderful family establishment that can also be for just the two of you. Great prices and great food from fresh ingredients, Boccelli's brings a flare of downtown Portland into downtown Gresham. The atmosphere is comfortable and family friendly (crayons are provided for the kids to draw on the paper placemats), and the space is light and airy with very pleasant wait staff. You don't need a reservation for this nice get-away from the chain restaurants.

Bento Plus

Serving some of the best sushi in Gresham, Bento Plus is a cozy must go. The walls are covered with the license plates from all the states! The very friendly owners are there almost every night and this place is well known for its excellent service. Ask, and they are sure to give you great recommendations to try. They serve fresh seafood purchased from a local seafood company, along with fresh fruits and veggies.

Bryant Station

Bryant Station is a "diamond in the rough" offering a variety of foods and flavors for even the pickiest of eaters. Hidden in a well kept historic Gresham house, the menu is constantly changing and the owner (also the chef) uses fresh local ingredients in his dishes that range from classic continental to Pacific Northwest. The before dinner bread plate brings a touch of San Francisco with the various breads and dipping sauces to prepare your palate for the main course. Lobster Ravioli is a local favorite. Ask about after dinner drink specials and splurge on impressive dessert offerings, such as The Chocolate Tower Cake.

Cafe Delirium
It's trendy, it's funky, it's full of mismatched and overstuffed chairs, but they have great coffee with a very fun, helpful staff. Go there for studying, writing, socializing with friends, or try to figure out what the unique names of their drinks mean. A few of the well-known favorites include the White Russian, the Shamrock Shake, or the Crouching Tiger. With free wi-fi and so many different, well set up circles for everyone from singles to couples to book groups, Cafe Delirium is the creative pit stop in the Historic Downtown Gresham.
